It’s kind of chilly in my house. My second родина called me to draw.

Here’s a “sketch” I blew through this afternoon. Basically, these past few days I’ve been experimenting with drawing mouths. When it comes to people, I have some idea of how to articulate that orifice, but whales are a slightly different deal. Esoteric Whale is a cartoon, pink whale, but I don’t feel that he should continue to speak with his mouth closed. I’ve managed to push out a few drawings where’s spouting an open-mouthed exclamation, and they look okay. I want to keep working at it, until everything looks great.

So, my schedule stands: Monday, Wednesday, Friday are full-on, fleshed out strips, and over the weekend I’ll publish sketches like that above.
